Director & Filmmaker

I am a Director and Filmmaker based in Dubai with 20 years experience. I have created content for brands and organisations such as Dubai Media, Nestlé, Canon, Azadea, the UN and more. My work has taken me across the globe from Europe to South America, Africa, Asia and the Middle East. My work is my passion and I approach each job with dedication and a desire to create something beautiful.

With a background in writing and a quirky imagination, I love creating scripts and bringing imaginative concepts to life. I offer documentaries, commercials and content created with a combination of creative storytelling and high end visuals. I work hand-in-hand with clients from concept to completion, from script to the final edit. For larger projects, I draw on a network of trusted local talent.

My documentary work has taken me to some of the most remote regions of the world to document indigenous cultures. I have also made documentaries for organisations and brands such as 60 sec docs. My documentary ‘Eternal Ink: Tattoos from the Spirit Worlds‘ is available on Amazon Prime and other channels.

Corporate Videos

Telling the story of your company or brand requires a combination of engaging storytelling and stunning visuals. I will help you to find the right way to engage your audience, whether that be a compelling documentary, a slick branding film, or an engaging series of shorts that drive traffic to your platforms.

Photography

Photography has always been a passion, and I often initiate projects for the love of it. I have taken hundreds of photographs while filming my documentaries, some of which have been published in books and magazines. My portfolio entry for the 2024 HIPA Award is currently shortlisted. My fashion photographs have been published in numerous fashion magazines. My personal project ‘Dubai Nostalgia‘ is a tribute to my favourite city, and en effort to document my favourite places in the world’s fastest changing city.

Writing

I have written a variety of content including essays for magazines, short films and documentary scripts as well as a children’s book. After moving to London I studied Journalism and worked as a healthcare PR exec, writing promotional content and case studies. Interviewing prominent doctors, scientists and patients helped me refine my interview skills, which I now use in my documentary and corporate work. I also took many courses in screenwriting, and spent hours crafting short film scripts.
